Year 2

Hi, 

I’m Mrs Fort and I teach Palm class in Year 2.

I am a massive Disney fan and all things Disney bring a smile to my face. I love animals, particularly cats. I have 4, including two big fluffy maine coons. I like to relax by spending time with my family, listening to music and I love to settle down and get lost in a good book. I feel at home in the water and keep fit by swimming a couple of times a week. I regularly spend my weekends travelling around the local football pitches watching my daughters play football.

Hello, 

I’m Miss Mortlock and I teach Lilac Class in Year 2. It’s wonderful to be part of such a caring and fantastic team and school. I love reading stories out loud and my favourite story is always changing because there are so many fantastic books to choose from. At the moment I am enjoying “Saving Mr Hoot” and “Pip and Egg”. In my spare time I like relaxing and creative activities. I particularly enjoy listening to music, yoga, learning how to draw, and learning how to make things out of clay. 

Hello, I’m Mrs Parsons and I teach Silver Birch class in Year 2, on Mondays and Tuesdays. It’s great to be part of an amazing school where I went to school as a child. I love to travel. My favourite places to visit are Italy, America and Australia. Next, I would like to explore Egypt. Most of my time is spent with my little girl, doing arts and crafts and going swimming.  I enjoy going to the theatre. I am always singing songs from my favourite musicals. I love movies and regularly go to the cinema with my husband. I enjoy dancing and love to go ballet and tap dancing every week.  

Hi, I’m Mrs Juniper and I teach Silver Birch Class, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I am also one of the Vice Principals for the school. I have taught at Ramsey School since 2007 and I even came to both schools as a child.  My favourite subjects are Maths and Science. I love all things Harry Potter and I am a big Winnie the Pooh fan. 

My favourite book is Sam’s Super Stinky Socks by Paul Bright and Ed Eaves. It was my daughter’s favourite story when she was little and she loved the naughty Jumbo Bumbo fly. In my spare time I love to go on long walks with my dog, Oakley and I like to do a bit of cross stitch while catching up on a good detective season on Netflix.
